I Have Unformed Stools Most Of The Time, Although Sometimes

I have unformed stools most of the time, although sometimes they are formed. I haven't been constipated in years. I believe that peanuts are part of the issue, but have eliminated them from my diet and I still have what I call cow dung. Soft plop, unformed stools. I had a colonoscopy last year and one benign polyp was removed. No family history of colon cancer. I don't eat a particularly high fiber diet, so would expect more formed stools. Recent blood tests all within normal ranges except cholesterol but that is down 25 if the 75 points I was above the normal range from last year. The only medication i take is for hypothyroidism. I took Lipitor for years but don't like the side effects and eliminated most meat from my diet. Most of my protein comes from eggs and seeds. Meat about twice a week. Any thoughts?
Thanks for your help.
