I Have What Appears To Be Ringworm Started As A

I have what appears to be ringworm started as a small bump that itched and in a few days grew to almost the size of a quarter. It's has a bumpy red outer ring and darker red inner ring not raised. Went to see a doc and doc agreed it's ringworm. I have been treating it with prescribed cream for 3 weeks. Now there is a few small bumps that are hard and look like a pimple is this normal and is it ringworm?
