I Just Stared To Take Atorvastatin A Couple Of Months

I just stared to take Atorvastatin a couple of months ago. Last month my doctor reduced the mgs to 10 from 20. I have never taken any medicines in my 72 yrs. The only pills I take are multi vitamins and calcium. I have used the same brand for probably over 15yrs, so I know these are not the problem. In the last month or so, since I've been on this statin, my nails are growing slower, they're brittle and peeling, there on white spots on them and the color is off, not white. I have fine hair but I've notice it's not growing as fast and a little more than usual if falling out. I've always had great nails and this really is bothering me. We leave in Florida and at this time of the year my hair and nails, usually, grow very, very fast. Not now, hardly any growth. I haven't talk to my own doctor about this, yet, but I am planning on doing that. In the meantime, I would like a second opinion on this matter. Thanking you in advance for you help
