I just swallowed my antibiotic, capsule form of Cefdinir, and a few moments (less than 5 minutes) later, I burped and what looked like white smoke came out of my mouth. I assume that the capsule dissolved in my esophagus, and that was a small amount of the powder escaping. I took the pill with about 8 oz of water. I then drank another 8 oz of water after the burp, but want to make sure I don't need to do anything else. I have a tingling sensation in my mouth now.
