I Received A Series Of Injections Of Pan Heparin After

I received a series of injections of pan heparin after an operation in 1969. Have any long term side effects been noted, by the medical community, regarding this medication? I've been told that I have "leaky veins". The symptoms began suddenly in 2012, where my veins do not seem to be breaking, as with varicose veins, but rather, they leak mostly in the same locations in my hands and legs. It is painful and my skin puffs up with the blood. thanks, cherry
