I Recieved A Severe Sunburn On The Back Of My Legs
I recieved a severe sunburn on the back of my legs. I peeled the skin on one of the legs, I think too early, and a yellow liquid came out. now more than a week after the burn, the skin is rough, tight and almost scaly. I have applied lotion daily to help the healing process, but i am worried the skin is going to heal back properly. I am abroad so seeing a doctor about it is difficult. should keep applying lotion, and the skin will eventually heal back properly ?
one shoudlnot peel off teh skin following a skin burn. let it pel of and recover a natural process. it may take upto a month or more at times. unless infected , it heals.. some pigmentation may persist depending on sverity of burns.
the yellow discharge? may eb pus.. better to consult and decide further plan.
