I Suddenly Have Intense Stomach Pain With Very Loud Gurgling

I suddenly have intense stomach pain with very loud gurgling when I eat, which seems to get worse after I eat and gradually get better later; I already know I have colitis but this is different; I'm also having joint pain and muscle aches; could this be some kind of bug going around? The odd thing is I don't normally have much of an appetite and am suddenly ravenous; I have recently lost a lot of weight without trying.
