I Think I Have A Cold Sore
I have a little red dot on my upper lip but its rather not noticable. I put toothpaste on it and it burned. The first time I noticed it was when I went to the dentist to get my teeth whitened and when they put the flouride it burned. I took a look at it in the mirror and you have to lift my lip up a little to see it. I'm scared it might be a cold sore. What could it be?

It could well be an ulcer. It is called apthous ulcer it comes during stressful situations and also when there is essential vitamin deficiency in the body.
Hi, it may be an apthous ulcer. It usually results from malocclusion or malalignment of teeth, stress, vitamin deficiency, allergy and various other reasons. Please apply Mucopain and Hexigel ointments on the ulcer 3-4 times a day. It must heal in 4-5 days. If it doesn't, please report it to ur dentist. Take care!
