I Twisted My Ankle And When I Stood Straight Up

I twisted my ankle and when I stood straight up my ankle gave out and I fell. I went to the ER they did an x ray said there was swelling but diagnosed sprained ankle this was 3 weeks ago. The tingling has not gone away at all its been 24/7 Last night it was so bad I couldn't feel my toes. They prescribed ibuprofen 800mg 2x /day. And wrapped. I'm a female 23yrs old 5'3 150lbs. Pain is currently present as well the tingling is getting worse again
