I Wanted Clarification Of My Son Wheather Attacked Brain Fever To Him Or Not ?
my son had fever for last 3 days and sore throat, on 4th day he was little drowsy and there was some irrelevant talk. he was hospitalised, there they said tha fever has reached brain also and called it meningitis. i had heard that some 15 years there was an attack of brain fever in our locality and many people died. is this meningits ?

Brain fever is deadly disease, needs immediate hospital admission and treatment. please get a CT scan done soon. i think they will give penicillin injection. not to delay hurry up. kids are more sensitive to brain fever. they need antibiotics immediately.

brain fever means it is japenese encephalitis which is very dangerous and in your case it is a complication of seasonal flu which is meningitis. brain fever encephalitis and fever reaching brain is meningitis, both are not same

I think this is meningitis, also called brain fever. As you have told he is suffering from the brain fever. Hope he will be fine so. Ther are treatments avialable for this
