I Was Informed That The Staphylococcus Aureus Infection May Have

I was informed that the Staphylococcus Aureus Infection may have come from a hairstyle received before Thanksgiving 2015, which consisted of a wash and blow dry, braiding of the hair, a net laid on top of the braids and sewing of the human hair to the net and braids. My question is could that actually create Staphylococcus Aureus, and could the reaction take place this late (two months) after the hair style?
