I Was Taking Roaccutane For Acne. Can I Donate Blood Or Should I Have To Wait For Some Time?

I was on Roaccutane for Acne, otherwise known as Isotretinoin. I'm 17, female and have been off the drug since the beginning of November. I'm thinking of becoming a blood donor, can I do that now or is there a certain time period I have to wait first?

Hi there.
Usually when one is on Roaccutane (Isotretinoin), there is always a series of blood tests done as per protocol. If these were/are all normal, i dont see any contraindication to donating blood providing you meet all the other criteria for blood donations.
Cheers & Good Luck
