I been to many cardiac arrests and I strongly believe my patients were not experiencing any pain. Blood flow to the brain has ceased or is decreased. The patient doesn't even move. Patients do experience pain after resucitation because of CPR and intubation. A myocardial infarct might of preceeded the cardiac arrest.
