I'm 37 Weeks Pregnant Today And I Have Like Numbness

I'm 37 weeks pregnant today and I have like numbness tingling pain on like the outer part of my thigs and legs besides severe pressure downward and extreme also back pain I lost my mucous plug about 3/4 days ago I feel actual contractions once in a while but my midwife hasn't checked to see if I'm dialeted or nothing I have an apt today but can this be sign I'm going or am in labor?
