I'm 75 Years Old And Concerned About Getting The Tdap

I'm 75 years old and concerned about getting the tdap vaccine, being on Methotrexate, Prednisone and twice yearly Rituxamab for rheumatoid arth. The doctor who gave the vaccine to my husband told me it wouldn't do much good in older people. Is this true?
