I'm On The Implanon Birth Control And Have Been For

I'm on the implanon birth control and have been for about a month. Begore that I was on the depo shot for a bit over a year. I've had intense problems with my period before including bleeding after orgasm for about a day. My doctor said I probably have such a thing uterin lining that it bleeds when my muscles contract. I've gotten my period not on schedule(not that that it really has one) but I've thought about it and ive been drinking a lot of mtn dew. Today and yesterday I did not have mtn dew until after 4. Around 8;45 I went to the bathroom and I got my period heavy again. Is there any way that mountain dew can cause my period?
