Implanted Drug Pump Stopped Working. Possibility Of Medicine Leaking Into The Body?
Hi, I have a friend who has an implanted drug pump. It s battery life has ended and now the pump is completely off. It still contains the medication as they never withdrew it. He is exhibiting some symptoms of withdrawl. Do you think it is possible for the medication to be leaking out and going into his body? Thanks for you help.

ideally if we speak the these are highly sophisticated instruments and mostly will not have such malfunctioning as you are talking about.
When a person is on drugs etc,and when they are stopped a person does feel withdrawl symptoms.so maybe your friend is having that phase.
but again we need to know which drug,duration of the drug etc
