Impression. 1. The left ventricle size was normal. LVEF 40/50% due to paradoxical septal motion. 2. Mild LV diastolic dysfunction with normal filling pressures. 3. The right ventricle was severely enlarged. The right ventricular systolic function was severely impaired. A kinetic free wall and apex. Paradoxical septal motion. 4. The right atrium is markedly enlarged. 5. The tricuspid value leaflets appear thin. Moderately severe tricuspid regurgitation present. The patient states she had a tricuspid ring annuloplasty, and some images could be consistent with this(no information on requisition about this), but not clearly circumferential. There is a densely bright, imobile, mass seen, arising from the lateral base of the right atrium, extending towards the TV leaflets; it is somewhat linear (with some irregularity and modular areas)~36mm on apical 4 chamber view (directed horizontally in this view), and~43mm on RV inflow (coursing up towards the valve). This was not present on the last echo here from 2013, but presumably she has had some intervention since this time. No information on the O.R. ,or post O. R imaging available for comparison. Etiology of this very bright mass is not clear, especially without any collateral information images. 6. The right ventricular systolic pressure as pressure as measured by Doppler is 47 mmHg. This was my Transthoracic Echocardiogram Report from October 2015. I had a Thromboendarterectomy in September 2014. My questions to you," Is what's going on". An explanation would be greatly appreciated. Something in simple terms would really help me. Thankyou Tanis
