In Sixties, Planning To Take Colonoscopy. Is It Okay Not To Eat Any Solids For Two Days Before The Procedure?

I am a man who is 67, and i plan to get a colonoscopy. I had one about 6 years ago and some small polpys were removed, but no real problem. Is it okay for me not to eat any solids for two days before the procedure? Can I eat or drink non fruited yogart, water, tea and v8 juice?
