Inability To Retract Foreskin Over Penis Head, Tight Foreskin. How To Get Relief?
i believe i have tight foreskin as i am 16 years old and i cannot retract my foreskin over the head of my penis ( glans ). i am worried if this is serious and i was not even aware that the foreskin was meant to retract. i can pull the foreskin back to reveal and see the head/glans yet never over it. just able to see a little bit
Dear Sandeepflash,
Welcome to HCM.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR QUERY.
FORE SKIN OF PENIS should move freely over the glans penis. Otherwise
1. you will not able to clean your penis properly
2. It will lead to infections.
3.Your sexual performance will not be very satisfactory and you may likely to have painful coitus.
You and your partners are prone to develop genital cancers in future.
4. You may likely to go for a condition called as para-phiomsis, Swelling of glans penis with difficulty to put forth your fore skin back.
5 you may likely to have preputial and frenal tears.
So consult your Surgeon and get removed your fore skin as early as possible if indicated.
Good luck to you.
DR. SM
