Incontinence And Reflux, Swollen Neck Lymph, Sebascuous Cyst. Ultrasound, Bloodtest Done. Waiting For The Result. Anything To Worry?
My son has a neck lump which maxio facial drs think is a sebascuous cyst. There is a swollen lymph node under the cyst. He took 2 lots of oral antibiotics a 4 weeks ago and the infection went but the lymph node and lump has not gone down. He sufferes from episodes of incontinence and reflux which seem to have got worse in the last few months. Hes awaiting ultrasounds on the bowels and neck and hes had blood tests but not had results yet. I feel really worried for him the longer these lumps are here id like to know if all these symptoms could be linked or just unfortunate to have all 3 flare up at the dame time. Hes 5 and the first lump was noticed 7 weeks ago. Hes also got a red spot on his scrotum just appeared tonight.
Hi, Neck node and lump if not subsides on antibiotic treatment. should be evaluated in more details. The varied symptoms you have mentioned probably unrelated. Anyway your doctors have taken the right decision regarding selection of investigation panel. Do not get worried. After the investigation reports will be available the diagnosis will be clear to your doctors. Take care of your son.
