my mother of age 46 has problem near heart and throat. she feels like sudden fast rate of heart beating and she can not sleep well due to this problem. When she try to sleep she became frighten with sudden fast heart beating and at that time she feels like she is falling from the height and became frighten. and that cause the breathing problem. It becomes more severe when she walk and when she is at work comparing to rest condition. she was taking hyoscine butylbromide IP 10mg, aluminium hydroxide gel IP, and pantoprazole.....but it could not help.....What may be the solution......Can you help, please ??
Thanks for your query about your mom. She needs further investigations to make sure that the abnormal fluttering is not due to an arrhythmia or heart disease. The two most useful tests in this sense would be an event monitor to detect an arrhythmia if she has the symptoms and an exercise stress test to see her response with the exercise.
