Increasing Level Of White Blood Cells In Successive Blood Tests, Have Tiredness And Exhaustion, No Infection. Possibility Of Leukemia?

Hi Dear you complain of tiredness and exhaustion for three weeks ,and your white blood cell count are double the normal range.the commonest cause of the increase in white blood cell is infection any where in body, which should also produce fever with this much increase in your white blood cell count.the second possibility is of course leukemia, for the diagnosis of which ,you need to go for No 1 total leukocyte count which in your case is in leukemic range ,platelet count ,which is decreased No 2 differential leukocyte count ,to look of number of the immature white cell,as well as type of the cells ,and No 3 you may also go for bone marrow aspiration to look for number of the blast cell in bone marrow to make the diagnosis of type of leukemia,
I can understand your feelings but are unable to give a correct opinion till the values of the blood count are reviewed, which you have not provided.
Regarding feeling of tiredness and exhaustion there can be mutliple reasons and would have to be seen in light of your age. Some of them can be:
1. Inadeuate sleep
2. Overwork, stress
3. Anaemia
4. Diabetes
I suggest that you consult your doctor with all the reports.
Hi,
Thanks for your query,
First of all your WBC count increases in millions.
Just Check in your blood work that there were presence of premature WBC were there or not.?
If it is present then the possibility of Leukemia increases.
Thanks.
