Infection After Sutural Removal In Ring Finger Due To Cut, Raised And Tender Bubble Near The Scab. Concerning?
Cut my ring finger on the very end by the fingernail. Had 9 stitches to put it back on. Had stitches out on day 12. Got a small infection after sutural removal and had 10 days of antibiotics. The wound has healed and the scab came off, but now I have a very raised and tender bubble where the scab was on the end of the finger. There is all new skin and it has good circulation and doesn't feel feverish. Is this bubble on my finger going to go down or should I be concerned about it?
hi bubble appearance after suturing of hand can be normal infection due to dressing or due to wound itself..first try oral antibiotic twice daily .anti inflammatory agent twice daily.and application of t bact ointment.if no response try o resuture the old sutured hand
