Infection In Leg, Smelling Bad, No Relief With Antibiotics. Can It Be Cleaned With Dettol?

hiya i have got an infection on my leg the closest i can see that it looks like is cellulitas but its starting to smell really badly iv had 4 courses of antibiotics from the doctors but its doesnt seem to be getting any better do you think it would be ok if i bathed it in dettol its smeeling really badly now with the summer heat my partner thinks i should go to the hospital but like i said iv been to the doctors 4 times and they dont seem to think i need hospital treatment i need to go for a doppler test to see if i can have compression bandages any ways sorry for blabbering on will it be ok to bath in dettol

Hi,
Your case requires evaluation.
From history it seems that you might be having diabetic foot if you are having diabetes.
There is possibility of having varicose ulcer if you have varicose vein or deep vein thrombosis.
Consult physician get examined and follow his instruction.
Go for proper dressing as well.
