Infection In Tonsils, Painful Pop In Solarplex Area Behind Bone In Middle Of Chest. Taking Amoxicillin. Should I Take Chest X Ray?

I had infection in my tonsils and was prescribed amoxicillin. I coughed really hard a few days later and felt a really painful pop in the solarplex area behind that bone in the middle of my chest. 2 months later it still feels like my breathing is labored and still slight pain in the same area. Should I get chest x-rays or CT?

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

You didn't mentioned your age.
You need proper clinical examination and investigation before prescribing any medicine.
Routine hemogram, chest X-ray (PA) ,Lipid profile, RBS,ECG should be taken.
CT scan may be needed after clinical examination and chest X-ray findings.
Get well soon.

Take Care
