Once there is positive Rubella infection means she is immune to rubella for life time as it is a viral infection and it gives lifetime immunity like measles. So do not worry hat ever the result is it will not affect your baby. IgG and Igm are type of immunoglobulines. They differ according to their size to cross placental barrier. Now you can start IVF treatment.

Today Torch test has disclosed that my wife is suffering from Rubella infection. The blood test shows 1gG 62.43, 1gM 0.47& Rubella avidity is 72. Now this her second pregnency , earlier also she had same infection and we did abort the baby at that time. Now we are deeply worry, again will it cause defect to baby.
