Intense Headache, Sore Throat, Dry Mouth. Taking Painkillers. What Could Be This?
Hi i have been feeling unwell for a couple of days now an intense headache orignally with a tender right sideof neck then a sore throat and very dry mouth and then whilst eating a white blister type spot appeared on my lip very suddenly with no tingling or anything previously. I have been taking constant painkillers and drinking plenty of water but nothing is easing
Fro your symptoms, the suspicion of sore throat is high. It is commonly caused by streptococcal germ. It could also be pharyngitis but this is less likely in your case.
The main stay of treatment are antibiotics. Piin killers and drinking much fluids are accompanying measures to take care of pains and keep the body hydrated. The commonly prescribed drug is penicillin V. You may want to see your doctor who would evaluate you and explore this option further if indicated. Please do this this serious because poorly treated, yo can go on to have cardiac and renal complications. Hope you find this helpful ad guides you to making sound and informed decisions. Wish you a good health. Dr. Ditah, MD.
