Intense Itching On Legs And Chest, Bruising On Inner Thighs, Bleeding Skin On Scratching. Causes?

I am having intense itching on my body primarily on legs and ches with bruising on legs primarily especially inner thighs for 1 month. I thought it may have been stress becasue my son has been ill but symptoms are getting worse and I have scratched my chest to the poit it has bleed . I have been reading on the internet of possible cause. Would appreciate ant help.

There are many causes of generalised pruritus. Go for investigation to rule out systemic diseases.If all normal then ... Take Tab. Atarax 25 mg daily at night
Tab Des -OD daily in morning
Avoid stress
No soap bath
Apply calamine lotion at night
Continue till feeling better.
