Interpretation Of Scan Which Shows Central Disc Protrusion That Effaces Ventral CSF?

At C5-C6 Is a central disk protrusion that effaces the ventral CSF and indents the ventral cord. At C6-C-7 There is a posterior disk osteophyte complex with a central disk protrusion that effaces the ventral CSF and minimally indents the ventral cord. At T1-T2 there is a posterior disc osteophyte complex with partial effacement and left anterior ventral CSF.

These MRI findings are suggestive of mild disc prolapse in the neck and upper thoracic regions. These are minor issues and there is no need to worry.

The common symptoms due to this could be pain in the neck and arms.

Treatment includes physiotherapy and neck exercises.
