Involuntary Movements Of Right Side Of Body, Anticlockwise Spinning Of Foot, Clockwise Spinning Of Hand After Accident. Suggestions?
Hello,my aunt was in a car accident a month ago, and she has strange symptoms. The doctors there said they haven't seen her symptoms from her type of car accident. She has intense stuttering, involuntary movements on the right side of her body(Her mouth opens wide then closes, her foot does a counter clockwise spin, and her hand does a clockwise spin). she understands everything as accurate as she used to, but she has trouble speaking. We are all worried for her and I have taken it upon myself to get some extra help.Any advice as to what may be happening would be greatly appreciated. Please reply as soon as possible.
Hi, it appears that she had effect in the brain, like thrombosis, or hemorrhage, or concusion in the parietal area, during accedent. There could be a pressure at the base of the skull, causing pressure symptoms on the facial nerve. The other possibility is the psychological effect due to shock during accedent. i advise you to consult a neurologist for diagnosis and treatment.Thank you.
