Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Restricted to one leg / starting after several years – mean they are unlikely to be related.

ECHOcardiogram is necessary to assess the severity of the heart valves (Mitral Valve Prolapse?) and heart function (Ejection fraction, wall motion abnormality) / clots...

Neurological examination will be helpful for the muscle / Electrolytes, Electromyography may be necessary..

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
