Irregular Period, Prescribed Duoluton Per Cycle. How It Helps To Get Pregnant?
Hi,
I am suffering from irregular periods. My doc prescribed me Duoluton for 1 cycle. My doubt is does Duoluton regulate my periods just for that cycle or will I start getting my periods regularly after taking tablets for one cycle alone. If Duoluton regulates period for only one cycle, how will it help me get pregnant since Duoluton is an effective contraceptive pill.

Duoluton L is a contraceptive preparation and hence, you cannot expect to conceive while on the pill. In your case, it has been given to regulate the menstrual cycle. It remains to be seen if your cycles can get regularized with one cycle of treatment or further help is needed. When the irregular cycles are a result of a temporary ovarian disturbance, this form of kickback will be effective. Otherwise, you will be needing a complete evaluation to look into the cause. if u want to conceive simultaneously,consult a nearby gynaec.
investigations has to done to see if tubes are patent or ovulation is occuring.
