Irregular Periods, Prescribed Femilon, Have Mood Swings, Sick Feeling After Taking These. Normal?
Hello sir, My wife has a problem with irregular periods and in relation to this, we had consulted a local Gynecologist . He has prescribed Femilion Tablets. After taking those tablets, my wife tends to be moody, a little sick etc. Could you please guide us whether such symtoms are normal when u r under this tablets. Whether V shud Change the tablets by consulting the Gynecologist. Thank You
Femilion should do a good job of regulating her periods if she continues to take them every day. These pills and other similar pills may initially have some hormonal effects such as moodiness when people start to take them. However, in most women these symptoms will resolve as she gets used to the pills, maybe after a month or two. If the symptoms persist, she can ask her doctor to try a different pill. If the symptoms continue even after changing pills, she should be evaluated to make sure there isn't another cause. As always, if the moodiness is severe and she feels like she is in danger of harming herself or others, she needs to talk to her doctor right away. I hoe this helps, please let me know if you have any more questions.
