Is ALAT Being 51u/I A Cause For Concern?

Hi, I have ALAT 51 U/I just received the results today. I am going to have an invitro procedure and am taking some drugs as preparation (contraceptive pills)I am 38 years old with a bit overweight, i work in an office and don t exercise. Thanks in advance Tanya

Hello,

As you mentioned you are a little bit overweight, this could be the reason for the mildly elevated ALAT test. With the reduction of weight, ALAT will come down to normal.
