General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

AST level of 74 U/L is showing a two-fold increase and is considered to be abnormal.

But you need to understand that it is not specific to the liver. ALT is more specific for the liver.

Kindly get an ultrasound scan of the abdomen done. Kindly consult Physician with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.

Also, you can consult Dermatologist for the skin problem.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S,
