Is Amoxicillin Advisable For Sinus Infection?

I have experienced a 49 pound weight loss with no change in my eating and exercise. My lymphnodes are usually swollen, sometimes less sometimes a lot. I went to the dr 3/24 with congestion, cough and fever DX was sinus infection. I was prescribed amoxicillin I took the ten day regiment. Twelve days later I was sick again with sore throat, extremely swollen lymph node and fever so I went to the dr. They did a strep test and cbc between the two I don t have strep but there was some infection. That was five days ago my fever is low grade, my nodes have gone done but now an abscess has developed and I have pink eye. That s weird with àll the antibiotics I m taking. Do you think there is something deeper or the first round didn t get it all?
