Is Amoxicillin Advisable To Treat Swollen Glands On The Right-side Of The Neck?

I HAVE SWOLLEN GLAND AT THE RIGHT SIDE OF NECK. DUE TO THE SINUS DRIP. I HAVE A PRESCRIPTION AMOXICILLIN 875MG. IT WAS GIVEN TO ME IN 2014 FOR SWORE THROAT. MAY I TAKE THIE AND HOW SHOULD I TAKE IT. IT WAS PRESCRIBED TO TAKE I TABLET BY MOUTH DAILY. I WAIT ANSWER. THANK YOU.

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your neck swelling.

Yes you can take the same medication for what seems to as per your history is either lymphadinitis or tonsillitis.

The proper dosage will be twice daily instead of once for five days but my opinion is you must consult your physician before taking it.

The swelling can also be the blocked submandibular salivary gland too. You need to be better diagnosed before taking the antibiotic medication.
