Is Amtas Advisable For High Blood Pressure?

my mother in law is suffering from high blood pressure which shoots up to 200/120 some times and she also had stroke due to this in last 8 years. somebody has suggested her to take Amtas* for controlling it. I was wondering whether it is a right option or it has some side effects presently she is taking Olmesartan H 40 mg

Olmisaetan and thiazide drugs (which is u r taking right now) are dieat choice of drugs for hypertension in patient with stroke. Amlodipine (Amtas) is second choice, which can be added if not controlled with olmisartan.
