Is Arg 9 Sachet And Shots For Baby S Lung Development Right Treatment During Pregnancy?

My wife completed 33 weeks on 12th August 2014. On having Usg on 15th Aug it was detected that she is having between 7 to 8 AFI fluid. Doc said its low and suggested Arg 9 sachet for a week and 2 shots of inj for babies lung development. What are the risks and chances of making it full term ? She isn t leaking anything and the baby s growth so far is correct.

I understand your concern.
ARG 9 is given to improve placental circulation/ amniotic fluid level. This improves chances of full term delivery. Thus maturity of lungs is possible.
