Is Asthalin Safe For The Treatment Of Cold And Cough In An Infant?
Hi doc ...my baby is 6n half months boy baby....since from 1 week he has couf n cold ...our fam doc suggested astalin syrup for 4 days but couf is nt reduced ....taken secd opinion suggested brozeet ls 25 ml ...started giving now....fed up couf n cold doc....could u pls tell me ...is it right to give him...

Syp asthalin can be given to kids its safe if given in prescribed dose.
As alternate medicine you can give him
1. Tulsi /holy basil leaves juice 1tsp with 3-4 drops of honey 3 times a day.
2.ginger juice 1/2 tsp with 3-4 drops of honey 3 times a day.
These both helps to reduce the formation of phlegm.
If you are feeding him milk other than breast milk please add a small pinch of turmeric to that which helps to reduce congestion.
