Is Atenol And Urimax Effective For Nasal Congestion?

Of late I develop nasal congestion all of a sudden. On blowing out I get very sticky mucous and feel partially cleared for a short while and gets packed up again. I am taking ecosprin75 alternate days. Atenol 50 mg, amlodepine 5 mg and Urimax 0.4 mg daily. Age 63.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi ,
Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum .

As per your clinical history it appears that you are having chronic rhinosinusitis.

If I were your treating doctor, I would advice you
Steam Inhalation twice daily,
Saline nasal spray ,
Antihistaminic levocetirizine + Montelukast combination &
Macrolide Antibiotic .

Here my suggestion is that you should consult your ENT doctor for thorough examination, necessary investigations and treatment.

Hope this information helpful to you .If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Regards.
