Is Augmentin Advisable For Severe Sinus Infection?

I have CVID and GLILD that had been treated with Rituxan. I had a severe inflammatory reaction. Now I am on 50mg of prednisone and 15 mg of methotrexate weekly. I saw Pulmonology today and ordered Augmentin. My pharmacist is hesitant to fill it. I have a normal WBC, and a severe sinus infection. What is the risk?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, in absence of infection if the anti-biotic being taken then it is not the risk but it will not give any result more over chances of developing resistance for this drug is very likely that is all hope this information helps.
