My great granddaughter,age 3,has been ex with autism. She has had speech therapy, and occupation therapy at home. She will start a Pre School this August. school is for children with problems. She was dx by team at Kosias, hospital in Louisville, ky. My question, does a patient ever outgrow autism? YYYY@YYYY ., my email address. With the therapy at home, she learn a few words and some occupation theray.

No cure exists for autism.Raising a child with autism can be physically exhausting and emotionally draining.The goal of treatment is to maximize your child's ability to function by reducing symptoms and supporting development and learning.Some options may include: -Behavior and communication therapies -Educational therapies. -Family therapies.
