Is Azibact Advisable For Cold, Cough And Sore Throat?
Azibact 500mg, Age 35 Height, 160cm, weight 65, for past 4 days i was suffering from cols cough and sore throat, doctor advice me to take Azithromycin an antiobetic but the pharmacy reception give me Azibact 500 mg instead of Azithromycin, is this wise???

Azibact 500 mg is a macrolide antibiotic commonly prescribed in the treatment of infections caused by susceptible bacteria. It is not useful in the treatment of common cold or other viral infections since it is active against infections caused by bacteria only. Azibact is brand formulation of Azithromycin which is as good as Azithromycin hence it can be taken as dispensed by the pharmacist.
