Is BP Level Of 148/107 Very High?

When I got up this morning my bp was 148/107. I just checked it and it has gone down to 133/98. I would like to know how high is too high. I would like to know when I need to seek medical help to prevent the risk of a stroke. I am 30 but both of my parents and other siblings are on bp meds and this worries me.

I would recommend you to start lifestyle modification techniques, and because you are in high risk group, i would strongly recommend to consult you primary physician and keep track of your blood pressure.
