Is Barrett S Esophagus Recurring?
Hi, I ve had been diagnosed with Barretts esophagus, about 4 years ago, 3 years ago I had another edg done, they said it healed up and was gone, so I quit doing the antacids, I just went into see another Dr. who told me it doesn t usally go away? So I just had another edg, he seen 5 red areas and took 5 biopys, haven t gotten the results yet, but I m wondering if he maybe right, that its back? or never went away?

yes, barrets esophagus can recur.
you should take Proton Pump Inhibitors (omeprazole) continuously and Antacids.
dont worry it is reversible.
avoid smoking, coffee, excessive tea, soft drinks etc
