Is Bells Palsy Contagious ?

I know it says Bells Palsy isn t contagious, I was reading that HSV-1 is one of the causes. If I kiss somebody with Bells Palsy who has the HSV-1 virus, will i get it? I m confused a bit. I m someone who has HSV-1 as well. But on his case I m not sure. He doesn t have sore out breaks. Only once for him did the nerves on the left side of his face go numb i guess you could say, sorry i don t know the correct term. thank you!
