Is Benadryl Advisable When On Digoxin Treatment?

Hi my dad has CHF and takes digoxin, he also started oral chemotherapy a week ago. Today he woke up with his skin bright red. I m thinking possible allergic reaction to chemo so I was wondering if I gave him over the counter Benadryl would it interfere with his digoxin dose?

Benadryl and Digoxin does not have any interactions. So, you can give your father Benadryl to relieve the symptoms of the allergic reaction.
