Is C-section Recommended Instead Of Vaginal Birth On Completing The Due Date?

Hi Doctor.I am 40 weeks pregnant and past one day of my due date. My doctor has suggestes me to get admitted and she will give medicine to get me labor pain. I am worried as I do not want to get labor pain artificially and do not want to go for c section. Please suggest me what should I do ???

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Yes induction of labour pains is advised after due date. This necessary does not mean that you have to undergo C section. You would be given labor pain & tried to have natural vaginal delivery. If labor pains doesn't work then C section delivery would be done.
As it is now 40 weeks of pregnancy, waiting more for natural labor pain is not advised.
